my sensitive boy

trevor was making dax smile and he stops and says, "Dax looks like a little angel when he smiles." awe...he loves his little brudder.

after watching a fireowrks show, trevor says, "these fireworks makes me feel like i want to cry." haha! i laughed but i thought it was pretty cute. i had to admit to him that i felt like that a little too. kris said we need some testosterone.

looking at a flock of birds in the sky trevor says, "look at those beautiful birds! it looks like they are making a happy face."

Trevor runs into the house from the backyard at dusk and says, "mom!! you gotta come see this!!! the sky looks like heaven!!!" i go outside to see and he stands there for a minute and says, "Just look at that beauty." Kris just shook his head and said, "We really need to watch some guy movies or something." haha! Trevor really loves sunsets!

Happy MemOREO Day

One day when it was close to Memorial Day, I was eating some oreo cookies and thought Oreo...Memorial...MemOREO!!! Brilliant! haha! So we decided to have a little get together with some family and friends and have everyone bring a desert made with Oreo cookies. It was a hit! This is definatly a new tradition that I will keep going.

My Brother Daniel made these deep fried oreo cookies. They won second in the contest.
I made these mini oreo cheesecakes. I was a bit disapointed with the outcome. they werent bad, just not great...know what I mean?

This was my friend Lori's concauction. It was like a layered pudding/whipped cream/oreo yummyness thing. It was the crowd favorite!

Blueberry Picking

My cousin Heather and her family came down from Las Vegas for a visit so we decided to hit up the bluberry farm. Theres nothing quite like eating blueberries right off the bush. They are delecious!!!

Dax was blessed at church on mothers day and I really cant think of a better mothers day gift. It was the perfect day to bless our little baby. Kris' brother and sister and their families came down from utah to be here. Im so glad that they were able to come. Dax is a very lucky boy to have such a great family on both sides.

I am thankful for the priesthood. Thank you to all the men in our family who are worthy priesthood holders. You are all such great examples to our boys.
